Fireproof plastic material
Fire resistant plastic materials are mainly used in electrical appliances that can produce high heat energy and high temperature, such as printers, hot air ducts, etc. The fire rating is mainly achieved by modifying resin or adding different materials. Additive materials usually include glass fiber, calcium carbonate, etc. Injection molding fire-resistant plastic materials with resin in different proportions.
Flammability UL94 is the most widely used flammability standard for plastic materials. It is used to evaluate the ability of materials to extinguish after being ignited. There are many evaluation methods according to the combustion speed, combustion time, anti dripping ability and whether the droplets burn. Many values can be obtained for each tested material according to its color or thickness. When the material of a product is selected, its UL grade shall meet the thickness requirements of the plastic part wall. UL grade shall be reported together with thickness value. It is not enough to report only UL grade without thickness. 
The flame retardant grade of plastics increases from Hb, V-2, V-1, V-0, 5vb to 5VA:
HB: the lowest flame retardant grade in UL94 standard. It is required that the combustion speed is less than 40 mm / min for samples with a thickness of 3 to 13 mm; For samples less than 3 mm thick, the combustion rate is less than 70 mm / min; Or extinguished before the 100 mm mark.
V-2: after two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the afterflame & afterburning will be extinguished within 60 seconds. Falling particles can ignite cotton.
V-1: after two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the afterflame & afterburning will be extinguished within 60 seconds. Dripping particles shall not ignite cotton.
V-0: after two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the afterflame & afterburning will be extinguished within 30 seconds. Dripping particles shall not ignite cotton.
5vb: after five 5-second combustion tests on the sample, the afterflame & afterburning will be extinguished within 60 seconds. Dripping particles shall not ignite cotton. Burn through is allowed for bulk samples.
5VA: after five 5-second combustion tests on the sample, the afterflame & afterburning will be extinguished within 30 seconds. Dripping particles shall not ignite cotton. Block samples shall not be burned through.
Because most plastic flame retardants are added during plastic molding, the addition of plastic flame retardants should pay attention to the requirements of laws and regulations related to products. Most flame retardants contain more or less harmful ingredients! Therefore, when the product has flame retardant requirements, the corresponding laws and regulations of the product should also be considered when adding flame retardant for production.
Fireproof soft porcelain
This product is composed of inorganic powder such as clay, stone powder, sand, cement waste block and modifier. The product density is 2327kg / m3. After inspection, the combustion performance of this product meets the requirements of class A, and the additional classification meets the requirements of S2, d0 and t0. According to GB 8624-2006, the combustion performance of this product reaches a2-s2, d0 and t0.
Fireproof mastic, also known as organic fireproof plugging material, is made by rolling with organic synthetic resin as adhesive, fireproof agent and filler added. The plugging material does not solidify for a long time and has good plasticity. It can be plugged at will. This kind of plugging material is mainly used in the fire-proof plugging Engineering of building pipes and wire and cable penetration holes, and is used in conjunction with inorganic fire-proof plugging materials and fire-retardant bags. Inorganic fireproof plugging material is a kind of gray powder material. When mixed with water, it can be used for plugging holes of wires and cables or as a fire wall of wire tunnels. The fireproof plugging material is non-toxic, odorless, has good water and oil resistance, and the construction method is simple. Its oxygen index is 100, which is a non combustible material. The fire resistance time can be up to 3 hours. For some permanent projects, the use of inorganic plugging materials can not only save project costs but also make the project firm.
